Kyla Plaxton – Finding Power in Your Period

WINNER – October 2014 Pitch Your Passion

PYP Oct 2014-9020In her book, Little Women’s Gide to Personal Power, Kyla Plaxton provides a 12 chapter, step by step guide to empower young women, to look within themselves and to discover their own unique little inner voice, and create a life they love. Her dream is to speak to girls and educate them about loving their bodies, loving themselves, and to understand and embrace that very special time of growth and maturity and change. As a successful Jin Shin Do acupressurist, Kayla understands what it means to ‘listen to your body’ and she knows that the tween and teen years can be challenging for young women. She encourages them to look inward during this loudest of times and to listen. To support her passion, Kyla is moving forward with her new business venture, “Little Goddess Enterprises”, and hopes to to create the space needed to speak to girls through presentations, workshops, and coaching and to ultimately redesign her book as an excellent ebook, providing a much needed resource to this important group of women at one of the most powerful times of their lives.
