Where is your happy place?  I have many happy places:  hiking with my dog Jasper, laughing with my daughters, napping on a cold wet mid afternoon, tea time 3pm daily.

If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be? Being Happy and a good dancer 🙂 ooops that’s two.

Who or what is your greatest love? My husband who I met in Grade 6, my daughters Madeline and Ava, my animals, my family.

Your thoughts on community and connection? Participate in some way in your community – being a part of something is a great feeling.

Who has had the biggest impact on your life, and why?  My mom and dad- two people who chose non-traditional careers – both professional athletes- they did what they loved everyday. They make me laugh and show me and my kids the true meaning of love, life and family.

What is your latest discovery? that life is passing by quickly…….I am slowing it down.

How do you celebrate your birthday? For my 40th birthday I flew to Belize to volunteer for two weeks at a school on the Island of Caye Caulker. I prefer no gifts, just gift of time together or travel.

How do you relax? music, tea time, hot bath, walks on the beach with my dog.

Do you follow your heart or your head?  My gut (heart) – it is always right.

Carnivore, vegan, vegetarian, other? prefer vegetarian.

What song do you play over and over again? I LOVE music – I listen to my playlist everyday – if I have to pick …… Eva Cassidy, Fields of Gold and Xavier Rudd, No Woman No Cry
